Christine M. Settineri joined Jeffrey S. Schecter & Associates, P.C. in August, 2022.

Ms. Settineri obtained her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School in 2003 and her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University. W.P. Carey School of Business. Since being admitted to practice in 2004, and up to and including the present date, she has concentrated her practice in the field of matrimonial and family law. She represents clients in Family Court, Supreme Court and Appellate Courts of the State of New York. She manages cases from intake through discovery and trial with a goal towards negotiation and settlement.

Ms. Settineri is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Family Law Section and Nassau County Bar Association, Matrimonial Committee. Ms. Settineri also holds the following honors and/or memberships:

  • 2021 Super Lawyer
  • 2019 New York Metro Top Women Super Lawyers Rising Star
  • 2016-2018 New York Metro Super Lawyers Rising Star

Additionally, from 2017 through 2021, Ms. Settineri was a Leader of Legal Workshops for Mental Health Professionals on Matrimonial and Family Law related to patient issues including “A Therapist’s Court Testimony, Mandated Reporting and Record Release: How to be Prepared” and “Impact of Abuse, Neglect, Domestic Violence and Mental Illness on the Family”.
